WELCOME

I’m a dedicated Clinical Psychologist with over thirty years of experience. I treat couples and individuals in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau County & Suffolk County, specializing in a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship challenges among others.

My therapeutic approach to couples therapy is rooted in evidence-based methods like Imago Relationship Therapy and the Developmental Model of the Couples Institute, tailored to fit the unique dynamics of your relationship. I work with couples navigating a broad spectrum of life’s transitions and challenges, helping you discover increased intimacy and understanding.

My approach to individual therapy combines Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) with psychodynamic insights. I customize treatment to your needs, your pace and your goals.

Yes, I offer a free initial consultation phone call to discuss your particular needs and to make sure I’m an appropriate therapist for you.

The first session lasts longer than the typical weekly session so I can get to know you, your background and concerns in detail. After the first session, Individual Therapy Sessions are typically 45 minutes. Couples Therapy Sessions are typically 1 hour.

Sessions are weekly in the beginning. As therapy progresses, they can become less frequent. How long it will take to resolve your particular issue is different for each person/couple.

If symptoms such as anxiety, depression or psychotic episodes persist and aren’t improving with psychotherapy, I will refer you to a psychiatrist for evaluation for medication.

All fees are due at time of service.
